About Musabe Foundation
Musabe Foundation is a charity organisation in Uganda ,East Africa ,Musabe Foundation imparts I.C.T skills in the needy jobless youth, street chidren, orphans and also take part in naturing homless children and orphans in many ways ,developed self reliant with potential capacities to utilize local resources in their communities and achieve development hence fighting the inter-generational cycle of poverty in Africa. Musabe Foundation also encourages the communities to test for HIV/AIDS to know their health status. This is very important if Africa is to develop.
In addition Musabe also encourages the parents to grow enough food so that part is sold to get money and store part of the food for food security and good feed to the children to prevent chronic hunger in dry seasons. This also fights malnutrion in the children and prolonged lack of food which may result in various diseases.
Musabe Foundation networks with some other organisations,needy schools, women associations, student and youth associations to be able to carry out some of it's charity work in Africa.
To impart I.C.T skills in the youth, street children & orphans , improve and increase provision of socio-economic empowerment and agricultural services for improved livelihood of the marginalized.

ORGANISATION OBJECTIVES/ GOALS:
To impart I.C.T skills in the homeless orphans, street children and the youth at large for job creation & self-reliance .
To establish homes , education institutions & medical centers for the homeless orphans and street children to transform their communities and nations .
To Promote Agricultural activities/services, to enhance food security/ nutrition& Poverty alleviation
To Strengthen global partnership & Development to Catalyze change, enhance learning and improve on financial sustainability
To introduce the use of I.C.T in other sectors that cause transformation like education ,health and others.
To update and empower the youth & women on their potential capacities to utilize local resources in their communities and achieve development.
To prepare & produce well developed self reliant youth in Uganda and East Africa at large .

Therefore, Musabe Foundation’s strength lies in availability of appropriate Governance and Management, personnel, physical and social infrastructures; and experience in managing donor-funded projects..
2.1.Governance and Management:
The organization is comprised of:
General Assembly –which comprises all the stake holders of the Organization including the Government representatives and international community/donors and meets once a year. It is responsible for the annual review of the organization performance, amending Policies, reviewing the staff performance and the annual work plans and budget of the next financial year.
The Board of Directors. [B.O.D] – This is the board responsible for policy formulation, amendment, review and approval of strategic annual work plans and budgets of the Organization. It is responsible for lobbying, resource Mobilization and negations with development partners and contractors
The Secretariat - This board is responsible for policy review, Budgeting, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of Program Activities and general service delivery. It is headed by the Executive Director assisted by the Program, Manager and other and Departmental Heads as per Organization structure annexed.
Musabe Foundation Social and political acceptability
Musabe Foundation initiatives find favor in the social and political arenas in the district and in the whole Rwenzori region , mainly due to their being pro-poor. As an Organization, we therefore build on such to advance other programs, including Health programs and building homes for the orphans & street children .
The Principles we Follow
The strategy is designed to reflect the following principles which we use to guide decision-making and strategy development:
Quality - structures and processes of management are organized to ensure that the service, delivered is holistic, integrated and continuous, and in accordance with the agreed standards;
Partnership -appropriate opportunities and methods are made available to enable and empower all stakeholders, including intersectoral partners to participate in decision-making and work in an honest and open partnership;
Equity -equitable access is ensured to all services and resources with a focus on the vulnerable and underprivileged groups; .
Effectiveness- special efforts are made to ensure that an intervention or service provided for the targeted population yields the intended result(s); and
Efficiency- .optimal use is made of the range and mix of available resources
(e.g. financial, human, physical and technical resources) in support of the delivery of evidence-based practice.
OUR FUTURE PLANS
1)To Promote and implement both Primary Health Care ( PHC) and Community Based Health Care ( CBHC) Programme Activities, [including HIV/AIDS,TB & Malaria, Maternal, New Born &Child health [ MNCH] care], through Multisectoral strategy Kasese District in Rwenzori in Uganda and Eastern African Region at large.
2)To establish a university school in the Mountain Rwenzori Region , to prepare & produce well developed self reliant graduates who will transform their communities and nations and fight the inter-generational cycle of poverty in Afric
